At the 2019 autumn conference of symposium held by Korea Society of Waste Management, , Attorney Shinyoung Chu from ELPS participated in a discussion as a panel regarding "Special Session I: Inclusion and Institutionalization of Incineration Energy in National Statistics." He delivered opinions on the coherence between Waste Control Act and Act on Resource Circulation of Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Vehicles concerning the application of energy recovery efficiency standards, and the necessity for clearly defining the factors required for calculating energy recovery efficiency.
